How To: Recognize Quality Clothing
The better the quality the longer your clothes will last. Here are a few tips on what to look for when buying quality clothing.
Recognize Quality Clothing
Stripes and plaids should be carefully matched at the seams.
Make sure that finished seam edges on fabrics do not fray easily.
Seams should be a generous size of one-half inch or more.
Look for buttons that are made of mother-of-pearl, wood or brass.
Buttonholes should be well-spaced that fit the buttons tightly.
Hems should be ample and even.
All stitching should be straight, even and match the fabric.
Good-quality linings should be loose and not attached all around because they wear better.
With this advice, you will get years and years of wear out of your clothes.
