You may have a requirement in SAP that makes your change your password every <XX> amount of days. Most companies set this password change requirement at 60 or 90 days because these time periods comply with most audit rules and regulations. However, you may want to change your password before that time period runs out. Here is how.

How To Change your SAP Password

  1. Execute/Launch saplogon or saplgpad (get to where you enter a username/password)

  2. Enter your username and password but do not login or click execute (or press enter)

  3. Click New Password in the upper left of the GUI

  4. Enter your new password twice

  5. Click execute (the green Check in the bottom right)

You’ve now changed your SAP password.
