How To Create an Out of frame effect in Photoshop
In this tutorial I’m gonna show you how to create a really nice photo effect, out of frame.
First of all, you are going to need a photo to apply the effect on. I’ve chosen this one:
If you want to use this one, Right click on it – Copy to clipboard. From Photoshop – File – New – OK – CTRL + V to paste .Add a new layer (CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + N)
Select Rectangle Tool (U), the color black and draw the surface where you will put the photo.

Right click on the layer – Blending Options – set Fill to 0%.

Edit – Transform – Perspective and move the right corner a bit down to create a 3d effect:

Select the layer with the picture and then choose Polygonal Lasso Tool (from the top menu, Feather: 1 px) and select the contour of the biker from outside the frame and the contour of the frame. Try to select all the details, like in the following picture:
From the top menu, Select – Inverse.
Press “Delete” to erase this part.

Right click on the layer with the frame – Convert to Smart Object.
Right click again – Rasterize Layer.
Select Polygonal Lasso Tool and select/ erase the edge of the frame which covers the subject:
Press “Delete” to erase.
Optionally, you can add some shadow which comes out of the frame.
Add a new layer above the Background layer (select the background layer, then CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + N) .
Select Brush Tool (size 72 px, hardness: 0%, opacity: 8%, flow: 50%) and draw a shadow.
