How To: Beautify a Bedroom with a Feminine Idea
You can be having a royal living or you are just managing your finances adequately, your bedroom is reflective of the femininity within you. You may dress up, walk and talk like other people want to, what is appealing to them maybe more important to you than what you choose for yourself, so that you always receive a warm welcome in social gatherings. However, your room is something that you want to be welcomed by no matter how you dress, talk, and walk. You should just pay attention to, what you want, not what other people deem appropriate for your room. This is because your room hugs you each day no matter how you feel, but you can only get this welcome if you treat your room with feminine grace first.
First off, you don’t need to go too frilly and glittery to make it look like a feminine room. Subtle tastes and subdued decorative themes can do wonders for your room and look appealing for you as a female as well as welcoming for any male entering the room. However, it’s still up to you if you want to try out something dramatic and over-the-top to show your supreme creativity and satisfy your ego.
Color
Your room doesn’t necessarily have to be pink to make it have feminine touch. Pink is sometime stood obvious and it may lash with your age and mental maturity level at times. Even then you can choose a pink theme, keep it subtle, and splash it around. The walls can be done in softer ones or you can just make one wall a darker pink and keep the rest white washed. A soft muted shade of pink works wonders when combined with other loud colors. If you choose a loud, flashy color then add only hints and mix it well with other colored decorations. You can keep the main theme white and bring in pink accents with curtains, bed sheets, decorations, carpet, and window colors.
Line and Symmetry
Straight lines and too much symmetry make it all look very masculine. Go for curved furnishings, abstract ornaments and flowery curtains and linen. Even your mirror and furniture can have curved lines- it all depends on you. Twisted non-conventional shapes, decorations, and designs keep the room looking attractive to those, besides you, who enter it too often.
Fabric
Your room textile is the best way to execute your feminine tastes. Keep them lush and soft with flowery colors and prints. Floral and pastels are always more soft and representative off a soft feminine mind. Chenille spreads, maroon curtains, knitted draperies on the windows or chairs etc. all add to a delicate touch.
Decorations
One main striking ornament can give your room a complete rounded up theme. This can be done with a chandelier, a stand, a hanging crystal ball, an exquisite painting etc. Also, small touches like pillow tassels and braided cord for upholstery make up for a very finished, delicate look that is not over-the-board. The cosmetic items on your dressing table can also be put up with careful choice to represent your personality- perfumes, makeup, brush, jewelry, creams, are truly reflective of how feminine and refined your choices are.
