SAP makes it easy to display all users on an SAP instance and their roles. The report is good for auditing purposes, among other things. In order to run this report, you’ll need access to the transaction code (t-code) SUIM.

Display all users in an SAP Instance (and their roles)

  1. Execute t-code SUIM

  2. Click the drop-down beside User then the drop-down beside Users by Complex Selection Criteria

  3. Click on the Execute button for Users by Complex Selection Criteria (Alternatively, you can access t-code S_BCE_68001400 and skip steps 1+2)

  4. Click execute

  5. SAP will clock for a bit if you have many users. Once you see a list of users, click the Roles Button at the top

  6. You’ll now have a list of all user accounts along with their roles. Click on List in the file menu, then Export > Spreadsheet to export the list to excel spreadsheet.

Optional

At Step 3, before Step 4, you may wish to use these optional settings:

  • Check “Unlocked Users Only” at the bottom to prevent locked users from showing.

  • Enter Group for Authorization to only show a certain group of users (Plant/Division specific users)
